Overview

The Woodlands

A 28,000-acre master planned community nationally recognized as one of the more successful in the United States. Current (as of 1/1/2011) total investment exceeds $13 billion with a population of approximately 97,000, and 47,000 jobs provided by some 1,700 employers. Upon substantial completion within the next seven to ten years, the resident population is expected to exceed 130,000 with some 67,000 jobs and 36,000,000 square feet of commercial and institutional space. Roger Galatas was a member of George Mitchell's development team at The Woodlands for almost 20 years serving as Executive Vice President, President and CEO of the company.

ELR Development, LLC (referred to herein as "Owner") owns approximately 24.64 acres of land sometimes known as the Karnaky tract ("Property") located in the John Taylor Survey, A-547, Montgomery County, Texas. The Owner has retained Galatas Interests, LP and its General Partner Roger Galatas Interests, LLC as its advisor ("Advisor") to assist in managing and marketing the Property.

Warren Ranch

A 6,400-acre working ranch in Northwest Harris County, Texas had been under family ownership since the 1800's. The owners of a majority interest in the property retained Roger Galatas Interests to reconcile diverse family objectives and market the ranch property that also embraced an active salt mine and several producing natural gas wells.

WindRose

A 1,200-acre residential golf community is located in the North Houston region just south of The Woodlands. Its investor owners, Lehman Brothers real estate fund and Snowmark Corporation of Boca Raton, Florida, engaged Roger Galatas Interests as advisor in the evaluation, repositioning and sale of this community under active development.

A 6,634-acre timberland located in Montgomery County, Texas, just 15 miles to the west of The Woodlands, is one of the largest landholdings in Southwest Montgomery County under a single ownership. It lies in the path of residential growth influenced by development of The Woodlands and other planned communities extending northward into Houston's suburban area.

A 4,600-acre master planned community is now under development near the cities of Biloxi and Gulfport on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Roger Galatas Interests was retained as Advisor by the property owner, Columbus Communities LLC of New Orleans, to select, organize and direct a team of professionals to prepare a master development plan and strategy including entitlements for the largest master planned community ever undertaken in that state.

A 1,700-acre primary/second home community in a resort setting expanding from Aspen to Snowmass, Colorado, is on property purchased by George Mitchell in the early 1960's and later planned and developed by his Woodlands Development Corporation directed by Roger Galatas.
